Hi, I apologise that I’m uncertain how to communicate this and whether this is the correct platform. Wincham Parish Council considered the 4 draft Local Plans and one ancillary comment they asked me to pass on was the question of whether some of the empty property at Baron’s Quay could be converted into a doctors’ surgery or other infrastructure that will be required to service the new properties that will be built in the area. Best wishes, Naomi (Morris) Wincham Parish Clerk

Councillors understand the need for swift progress on drawing up and agreeing a new Local Plan, but feel that more effort should be made by CWaC to bring the draft Plans to the attention of residents. We know there are meetings, but the level of awareness amongst residents is generally low. Wincham PC is doing what it can to inform its residents, but asks that CWaC take steps at a more strategic level through the local press and broadcasters etc to promote understanding amongst residents across Cheshire West.
