Carbon offsetting needs dealing with with care as jusytplanting trees elsewhere can cause problems there and is not a permanent solution. Offsetting via carbon capture once viable will remove the carbon for good but the energy needs for the capture needs to be green as well. Monies form sources like dvelopment would help Carbon Capture get established

Where possible any significant biomass plants should have Carbon Capture and link in to Hynet. Also they should link in t district heating systems as well.
