Not at all! It may be a suitable strategy for specific localised transport hubs but is not appropriate to meet future requirements for the County and will generate many anomalies and waste money on inappropriate dvelopments, while creating a need for more infrastructure.

Yes there should be separate policies, because the requirements for development in the Green Belt should be more rigorous , precise, and inflexible as those in the countryside and may also need to differentiate from any Gray Belt

By encouraging Neighbourhood Plan (NP) requirements to include preservation of a specific detailed intrinsic character and by always including NP recommendations and policies when assessing development applications. This, sadly, has not always occurred. Also, by limiting infill to within settlement boundaries.
